In loving memory ~
On November 9th, 2022, Betty Boose passed away at Ocean Front Palliative Care, Courtenay. A dedicated long-time resident of Union Bay, Betty volunteered in many ways over many years, making a lasting impact on the community along the way. The Lionesses, the Tuesday Crib Club at Seaview, Baynes Sound Lions Senior Building Society, and the Union Bay Community Club will all feel a void in losing Betty and her hard work. She took leadership roles in everything she tackled.
Betty will be greatly missed by her family and many friends, but especially her partner, Mike Trask, sister Audrey Donahue, daughter Charlette Frizzell, and grandchildren Ryan, Mitchell, Allison, and Ethan - all of whom got to spend time with Betty shortly before her passing and will remember sharing a glass of wine with her before she went.
The family is grateful for the kind support from friends and services in Union Bay.
