King, Betty Ann
(nee: Radstaak)
Betty Ann passed away peacefully on May 8, 2006, age 58, after a short and courageous fight against cancer. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten by her heartbroken daughters: Carmen (Jeff) and Carolyn King; sister and best friend Trudy Cobb, brother-in-law Tom Cobb, and niece Jodi Aument (Greg). Also left grieving are brothers: George Radstaak (Susan), Derek Radstaak (Darlene); and her nieces and nephews, as well as other family and many good friends.
Predeceased by her parents William and May Radstaak.
She’ll always be remembered for her boundless energy, generosity, kind heart and ability to make everyone feel welcome.
She’ll be missed by the staff and patients at Dr. Bill Toews dental office where she touched many lives during the 26 years she tried to make going to the dentist a little less scary.
Mom loved to be outdoors whether it was walking around Crown Isle, camping at Comox Lake or just mowing the lawn. She enjoyed traveling and was able to visit many different places during her life, - though we never did get to Graceland did we Ma?
Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jenny Shaw, Dr. Sharlene Gill and Mom’s home care nurses for all their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to the North Shore Palliative Care Program, c/o Lions Gate Hospital Foundation (www.lghfoundatiuon.com) or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org).
