It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Bernadette Merceda Casanave.
Bernadette was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her greatest joy was raising her two beautiful sons along with the love of her life, childhood sweetheart Jim Sr at Casawood Farms where they loved, played and worked. Ceramics gardening, Swiffer dusting were a few of her favorite pastimes. She shared a special kindness to all whom had the pleasure of meeting her. Exploring and travelling the world with her love and best friend of 61 years, gave her many stories to share.
Her faith brought her peace when the Lord call upon her. "I have had a full, wonderful life".
Predeceased by sisters; Janet Holst and Darlene Stacey. Lovingly survived by husband James Sr, sons; Robert (Sharon) Casanave, James Jr (Lisalyn) Casanave. Sisters; Marlene (Bob) Westfield, Doreen Holst. Grandchildren; Stephanie, Jacqueline, Rachael, Dawson and Olivia.
