In Loving Memory ~
Benjamin Quilty-Peters born March 17, 1993 left us on June 5, 2024. Our cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and brand-new uncle. Ben had a heart of gold and although he had personal struggles, his family meant the world to him.
He's survived by his mother, Marina, of Courtenay, BC; sister, Ruby (Jeremy); newborn niece, Olivia Rose; father, Doug; Grandma Sylvia; Grandma Win; special auntie Diana; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A special thank you to his beloved homeschool teacher/mentor, Sharlene Grant.
Ben will be remembered for the joy he brought to his family and for his happy days, and we will learn from his struggles. Ben was just 31 years old and in the prime of his life. He loved his sister, and she loved him. He was happy on the ski hill of Mt. Washington as a youngster. He was a regional bowling champion and competed at the provincials.
Benjamin had mild cerebral palsy and taught us all with grace how difficult it is to manage with a disability. He persevered and always had dreams.
Ben, your smile lit up the world!
R.I.P. dearest Ben
