Evans - Barbara Ann
1920 - 2005
Passed away in Comox on Thursday, February 24, 2005. She was predeceased by her mother Vera Ford; brother Gray Hutchings; sister Jane Moxness and a grandchild Tom Pottinger. Barbara is survived by her son Frank Evans (Donna) of Sointula; daughters: Louise Newton (Randy) of Crowsnest Pass, AB, Lola Pottinger of Smithers, BC, Lorraine Epton (Harold) of Duncan, and Helen Plunet of Nanaimo; grandchildren Dana, Marna, Billy, Heather, Ken, David, Karen, Jim, Barbara, Clara, Sheryl, Kathy, Wendy, Howard, Theresa, Christine, Ward and Josh; numerous great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews Mark Hutchings of Campbell River and Lois Moxness of California. In her leisure, Barbara enjoyed painting (watercolours and acrylics), gardening, reading and had a passion for basketball, spending time with her friends, knitting and watching TV. Barbara was a very independent lady who often put others鈥� needs ahead of her own. She cared for numerous people who needed her support. She was a caring mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. Private cremation arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD.
