Avril Parkin passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of December 2nd at Laurel Lodge at the age of 79 years.
Throughout her years, Avril cared lovingly for her family and will be fondly remembered by her children; Gary, Dan, Brian (Mary), Ron (Verna), 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and her many friends. Avril was predeceased by her loving husband John in 1970, brothers John and George. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 6th, 2002 at 1:30 pm at Courtenay Foursquare Gospel Church with Interment to follow at Courtenay Civic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be in Avril鈥檚 name to the charity of donors鈥� choice. PIERCY鈥橲 FUNERAL HOME have been entrusted with arrangements.
