In loving memory ~

It was with immense and heartfelt sadness that family and friends bid farewell to Audrey this past May.

Audrey, born in Coleman, Alberta, was the beloved and only child of Leonard and Nellie (Aniela Michalsky) Hotte. Predeceased by both parents, husband Richard (Dick) in 2018 and infant son in 1952, Audrey is survived by her remaining children Bruce and Richelle (Garry Hynds), four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Besides her most important accomplishment of being an incredibly loving and supportive Mother, Grandma, and friend to so many, Audrey attended Business College in Calgary in 1949 and then went on to Teacher's College in Peterborough in 1964. Over her 92 years, besides her lifelong love of gardening, Audrey had many other accomplishments, along with many memorable adventures.

Audrey's family invites friends and acquaintances of both Audrey and Audrey's family to hear some of Audrey's 'Life Story' at a 'Celebration of Life' on Sunday, September 24th at 1 p.m. 'in the garden under the white tents' (please dress for the weather of the day) at The Gardens on Anderton, 2012 Anderton Rd. Comox (Behind the Anderton Nursery).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Audrey's name may be made to either: Glacier View Lodge Society or Anderton Therapeutic Gardens Society.
