Arthur Norman (Norm) Rogers, born November 18, 1919, passed away in Courtenay, BC on March 1, 2003. He was a veteran of World War II. Norm was the eldest son of Helen (Nellie) and Jacob (Jake) Rogers of Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth and brother Robert Rogers, Edmonton. He is survived by his first wife Olive M. Spiro, Halifax; sisters: Helen Hartling, Ottawa, Jean Miller, Halifax, Donna Stokes, Halifax; a brother Lorne Rogers, Moncton; a daughter Wendy Kert, Toronto; and sons: Wayne N. Rogers, Hubley, NS, Gary Rogers, Costa Rica. He had 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. At Norm鈥檚 request, there will be no service and his remains have been cremated.
