Born West Bromich, England. Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Commerce, University of British Columbia; Chartered Accountant; DLitt (Hon) - University of Malaysia.

Survived by his wife 鈥淢ac鈥� of 62 years, their three children Robert (Sharon), Joan (Colin), Bronwen (Peter), four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

At Dick鈥檚 request there will be no Memorial Service. The family would like to thank all those who helped Dick at this time. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Comox Valley Food Bank Society, 1126F Piercy Avenue, Courtenay, BC V9N 3E6.
