Anderson, Arne Walter
Walter was born in Kinnared, Sweden July 11, 1907 and passed away January 14, 2005. He immigrated to Canada in 1924 began working for Comox Logging in the machine shop and became a Canadian citizen in 1927. Retired from Crown Zellerback in 1970 as machine shop foreman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and raised beef cattle on a small farm until 1995 when he finally retired to his passion of cribbage.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years Isabella, brothers Fred and Enar, sisters Gertrude, Ruth and Signe.
Survived by his sister Edit, sisters-in-law Lillian and Vivan, son Arne (Pat), daughter Sonja Tooker (Gord), granddaughter Deb Davies (Gary) and 3 great-grandchildren. He has numerous nieces and nephews in Sweden, England, USA, and Canada. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at Piercy’s Thursday, January 20th at 1:00 PM. No flowers by Walter’s request. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice.
