Chartier, Anna Edna
March 26, 1914 ~November 16, 2002
Anna Edna Chartier born March 26, 1914, the middle daughter of Walter and Edith Veitch, Edna passed peacefully Saturday afternoon November 16, 2002, surrounded by her loving family; as the sunshine broke through the rain clouds.
Left in sorrow are, her husband of 53 years, Mel; children: Winona (Don), Melvin, June (Bob) and Joan (Eric); her stepchildren: Harold, Gail, Carol (Barrie); brother Walter and families; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
Her love was unconditional to us all. Edna loved her pets and plants, having a green thumb. She was a great cook and accomplished seamstress and knitter.
Edna saw much of Canada and Europe and a bit of Mexico. Her favorite was northern Canada where she loved to swim and canoe.
Edna will be missed so very much and always loved by her family, friends and extended family at the Cumberland Care Facility.

Cremation, no service by request. In lieu of flowers, a charity of your choice.
