McLAREN, Alexander
Alexander McLaren, aged 72, of Comox, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 10th, 2003. He is survived and will be lovingly missed by his wife of 50 years, Alice; daughter Sandy (Bill), son Bob (Louise) and daughter Terri (Ross); grandchildren Matt (Carolyn), Ali (Shawn), Graham, Caitlin, Claire, Keltie, Zack, Stephanie, Rebekka and Marshall; his sister Joyce Tilley and nieces and nephews. Al spent 39 years with the Air Force, was a member of the Comox Glacier Wanderers Walking Club and the Central Evangelical Free Church. Special thanks to Dr. David Musgrave and the nurses at Medical Day Care, St. Joseph’s Hospital for their excellent care and kindness. A Service of Remembrance in Celebration of his life was held on Monday, July 14th at COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 RYAN ROAD, with Pastor Dave Koleba, officiating.
