Turner, Albert Harold “Bud”
Albert Harold “Bud” Turner, of Courtenay, formerly of Victoria, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, aged 79. Pre-deceased by his parents, Arthur and Eveline Turner, brother Arthur “Sonny” Turner, sisters Doris Clifford and Lucy Johnson, grand-daughter Tracey and his brother-in-law Jack Mackie, Bud is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 59 years Bea; sons E. Bruce Turner (Carol) of Courtenay and Ken (Mary) Turner of Victoria; daughters Katharyn (Dennis) Mathers of Quesnel, Corinne (Jack) Howard of Hixon, Connie Everitt of Prince George, Kelly Plamondon of Prince George and Sheila (Jim) Clark of Port Coquitlam; brother Harry (Audrey) Turner of Victoria; sisters Clara (Val) Lavoie of Merville and Isabelle Mackie of Victoria; sister-in-law Anne Turner of Victoria; grandchildren Tina, Steven, Debbie, Sarah, Rachel, Evelyn, Chuck (Marlene), Karen, Cindy, Kevin, Myles, Avril, Brandon, Kristen,Karen, Jeannette (Adam), Laura (Andy), Barbie (Dwayne), Rick (Reina), Jeff, Jack, Tracey, Calvin, Chad, Ryan, Tara, Justin, Jaami and Michelle; great grandchildren Justin, Nicole, Gracie, Aba, Evan, Jasmin and sister, Kyle, Kevin, Amanda, Travis, Nigel, Regan, Tamara, Ben, Brooklyn, Lorisa, Clayton, Devin, Elisa, Jason, Crystal, Katie and Ashley, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. A Service of Remembrance will take place from Comox Valley Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, July 7th at 1:00 pm.
