Smith (nee: Beaudoin), Adrienne Aline Marie
Aug 25, 1966 - Feb 20, 2006
Adrienne passed away with her loving husband at her side on Monday, February 20th, at Royal Jubilee Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is lovingly remembered and missed by her husband, Gregg; daughters: Jazmine and Sarah; parents Andre and Doris Beaudoin; sisters Henriette (Patrice), Alice (Dan), Carole (Robin), Diane (Marty), and Collette (Sean); brothers Laurier (Pat), Louis (Laurie) and Gilles (Karen), sister-in-law Lori Smith (Bill) and many nephews and nieces.
Adrienne was born in Bonneyville, Alberta, but she spent her school years in the Comox Valley. Adrienne’s interests lied in antiques and collectibles, but her real passions were camping, playing games and spending time with family. Adrienne was a very loving, sensitive, organized and compassionate wife, sister and mother. Adrienne launched an Antique China business on the internet in 1997, which turned a hobby into a successful business. But her greatest achievements were; her twenty one years of love and marriage to her adoring, loving, devoted husband; and her success in giving her daughters the memories of a mother that gave them what all children could ever need – love, hugs security and shmily’s.
The family is very grateful for the wonderful care she received at Royal Jubilee Hospital, with special thanks to the staff at the Richmond Pavilion. A memorial service will be at First Memorial Funeral Services in Royal Oak, Victoria, at 4725 Falaise Drive on Saturday, Feb 25th at 2:00pm. A reception is to follow for family and friends at the family home in Sooke. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Victoria Hospice Society.
