PROPOSED ROGERS 63.0 METER WIRELESS
TELECOMMUNICATIONS
SELF-SUPPORT TOWER INSTALLATION
The proposed installation is composed of a 63.0-meter self-support telecommunications tower, including the antennas and a lightning rod. Rogers will comply with marking and lighting requirements in accordance with Transport Canada protocols.
Geographic Coordinates: 49.802415, -125.065342
Objective: To improve wireless coverage in the vicinity of Williams Beach, Merville and along Highway 19A.
Details: An equipment shelter will also be installed at the base of the proposed tower and the entire site will be surrounded by a security fence with a locked gated access point.
Public Meeting: A digital public information meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 5th, 2023, from 5:00-6:00 pm and shall be hosted via the Microsoft Teams application. For details regarding how to join the meeting, please contact the Rogers contact listed below by no later than October 4th, 2023. During this public information meeting, community members will have an opportunity to discuss Rogers’ proposed facility.
