The public hearing will be held by a delegation of directors for Electoral Areas A, B and C as delegates of the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) Board.
Anyone who believes the proposed bylaw will affect their interest will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.
Bylaw 813 “Rural Comox Valley Zoning Bylaw No. 520, 2019, Amendment No.15”

This bylaw, if adopted, would rezone a property legally described as The West ½ of District Lot 14, Nelson District (3960 Minto Road) from Rural-ALR (RU-ALR) to Rural-ALR Exception 18 (RU-ALR-18) to permit the cultivation of cannabis within existing farm buildings.
A copy of the proposed bylaw, the bylaw delegating the holding of the public hearing and related information may be viewed at the CVRD office, 770 Harmston Avenue, Courtenay, BC between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays from February 21 to March 5, 2024 or at:
