Students from Queneesh, Aspen Park and Lake Trail were first-place winners of the 2023-2024 Minecraft Challenge: Comox Valley Adventurescape: Theme Park Edition.
This year, students were tasked with designing a theme park that encapsulates the essence and magic of the Comox Valley while showcasing environmental responsibility.
Participants demonstrated remarkable creativity, with projects ranging from Silas' “Salmonland” near Lewis Park to the Huband Park students' solar- and rain-powered “Amooosement Park.” Lake Trail students amazed with roller coasters on Mount Washington, and Cumberland students impressed with a Cumberland Coal Mine Theme Park.
