Singer Coco Love Alcorn returns to the Valley for workshop and concert

Canadian singer-songwriter Coco Love Alcorn, will return to the Comox Valley for a workshop and concert on July 6.

Canadian singer-songwriter Coco Love Alcorn, is no stranger to the Comox Valley. 

She has been performing here for over 20 years at venues like the old Joe’s Garage, the Waverley, the Sid Williams Theatre, and most recently at the 2019 Vancouver Island Musicfest. 

Her previous two albums were recorded at Cumberland’s Hidden Well Studio with producer Corwin Fox.

She will be returning for a vocal workshop and a concert on Saturday, July 6, presented by Choral Valley.

The workshop will be held at the Little Red Church in Comox from 1 to 3 p.m. 

Coco will be singing and teaching some of her most beloved original songs throughout the afternoon. No previous singing experience is necessary to attend the workshops. For which the cost will be $40 to attend. 

Choirs across Canada and beyond have been covering her popular songs like The River, Good News, and Rebirth.

The concert will be at Comox United Church at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30. 

Entrance to both the workshop and concert can be bundled for a reduced rate of $60 and all three types of tickets are available . 

Admission at the door may be possible, but space is limited.
