Shelter proposal sets open house

The regional district hosts an open house Jan. 26 regarding the emergency shelter/supportive housing proposal on Cliff Avenue in Courtenay.

District representatives, Courtenay mayor Greg Phelps and consultants working with the CVRD homelessness committee will be on hand.

The open house Wednesday runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Comox Valley Regional District boardroom at 550B Comox Rd. in Courtenay.
