Santa’s Workshop returning to the Comox Valley in November

Santa’s workshop will be in its new location at 270 – 470 Puntledge Rd., Courtenay (the old Blockbuster Video store). Beginning Nov. 6, donations of cash, bicycles and gently used toys can be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. In December, the hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This has been a difficult year financially for many families, particularly those with a limited income, and Santa’s Workshop hopes to help make Christmas a little happier for children living in the Comox Valley.

The organization will be in its new location at 270 – 470 Puntledge Rd., Courtenay (the old Blockbuster Video store). Beginning Nov. 6, donations of cash, bicycles and gently used toys can be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. In December, the hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Elves will be working to clean and restore used toys. Parents and grandparents will be able to shop for gifts for children from newborns to 15 years beginning Dec. 1 until Dec. 21. Grandparents shopping day will be Dec. 15 and, if necessary, Dec. 18.

Drop-boxes for toy donations will be available throughout the Valley. Please check the website () for locations.
