Diana Graham had a plan and made a list of exactly what she wanted, which proved to be the secret to her success.
Graham is the 2023 winner of the Comox Valley Record鈥檚 Shopping Spree, an annual contest with a variety of Valley businesses participating. The contest ran from July 5 to Aug. 30, and entries were collected from the participating merchants with one winner chosen randomly from all entries.
Graham had $2,023 to spend in 2023 seconds (33.7 minutes) and she carefully pre-planned not only her stores but her items for purchase at each location.
She successfully 鈥榩urchased鈥� gift certificates at different stores including Searle鈥檚 Shoes, Woofy鈥檚 Paw Street Market, Boseley鈥檚 by Pet Value, Hot Chocolates and Peninsula Co-Op.
