Comox Valley RCMP are seeking the driver of a Chevrolet Cavalier or Pontiac Sunfire who was involved in a hit-and-run incident Friday night.
At about 11:15 p.m., police responded to the incident at 26th Street and Fitzgerald Avenue in Courtenay.
A 37-year-old man in a crosswalk suffered many non-life-threatening injuries and was helped by passersby. The injured pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment.
Anyone with information that would help with the RCMP investigation is asked to contact police at 250-338-1321.
