RCMP say a potential bomb threat that forced the evacuation of the Prince George courthouse and surrounding streets Tuesday morning (July 30) was a "false call."
They first notified the public about the possible threat just past 10 a.m., saying the courthouse had been emptied and the four roads around it were blocked off. Officers spent at least two hours investigating before announcing that the threat was false.
Prince George RCMP say people are being let back into the area while they work to determine who made the fake bomb threat.
