A power outage is affecting a large part of Courtenay. The blackout was first reported at 12:58 p.m. this afternoon (June 11).
According to BC Hydro, the affected area extends from Courtenay鈥檚 Powerhouse Road in the west to 14th Street in the south, Lerwick Road in the east, and 1st Street in the north.
