An officer is recovering after a report of a man with a weapon in Comox.
At approximately 2:15 p.m. on Nov. 15, frontline officers of the Comox Valley RCMP responded to a report of a man behaving erratically, in possession of a weapon.
As police responded, the man departed in a vehicle. He was quickly located and tactically contained, resulting in his apprehension. In the process, several vehicles sustained damage, and one police officer incurred minor injuries.
The individual received medical attention and several criminal charges are being recommended.
