At approximately 4 a.m. Sunday morning (Aug. 27) a hit and run in Cumberland caused extensive damage to a vintage, 1981 GMC Sierra Classic pickup truck parked at 2720 Kendal Ave.
A car seen leaving the scene - possibly a late 1990s to early 2000s Volkswagen Jetta (possibly Golf) - had extensive damage to its front end. Pieces of a headlight lens were left at the scene.
