On Sunday, Dec. 3, Downtown Courtenay BIA hosted the annual Christmas parade.
The event drew hundreds of cheerful onlookers of all ages.
Commencing at 2 p.m., the hour-long parade unfolded and gave way to numerous floats, community groups, and local participants marching down the city’s main artery.
The grand finale saw Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus saluting the crowd from the back of a firetruck.
