After more than six decades, there鈥檚 a new pilot at the helm of Oak Bay Marine Group.

Graham Clarke Group acquired the 62-year-old Oak Bay-based business, including its four Vancouver Island marinas in Oak Bay, North Saanich, Ladysmith and Pedder Bay along with OBMG Boathouses and the Marina Dockside Eatery.

This acquisition marks a milestone for the Graham Clarke Group as a premier marine operator in B.C. The company also owns 113-year-old Harbour Cruises in Vancouver, Coal Harbour Marina in Vancouver, B.C.-based ferry operator and shipbuilder Western Pacific Marine and the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre.

The company said it is committed to ensuring a seamless transition for OBMG鈥檚 customers, employees and partners.

The Oak Bay Marine Group was established in 1962 by the late Bob Wright, a passionate advocate for sport fishing who died in Victoria April 17, 2013, at age 82
