Comox Valley RCMP are seeking the public's help in locating three young males who violently assaulted and robbed a 20-year-old man in East Courtenay.
On March 27 at approximately 11 p.m., the 20-year-old was attacked by a group of young males while walking through Hobson Park, says Const. Dean Biollo of the Comox Valley RCMP's serious crimes unit.
The attack appears to be completely unprovoked and the assailants were unknown to the victim, Biollo adds.
The victim received serious, but not life threatening, head injuries. He was treated at hospital and has been released.
Witnesses reported a group of three young males matching the suspects鈥� description walking east on 10th Street East, turning south on Thorpe Avenue after the attack. Two of them were seen wearing dark hoodies while the third was wearing a white hoodie.
