Courtenay celebrates Canada Day

Crowds lined the streets of downtown Courtenay Monday morning to celebrate Canada's birthday.

Crowds lined the streets of downtown Courtenay Monday morning to celebrate Canada's birthday.

Around 10 a.m. July 1, many stood and sat along Fifth Street to watch an hour-long parade make its way down the street, with festivities continuing throughout the day at Lewis Park.
