Summer camp registration is set for April 15 for various Comox Valley recreation centres.
Register for camps for preschool, children and youth taking place in July and August and outdoor pool swim lessons.
Each organization is offering full-day camps and specialty camps throughout the summer. 19 Wing Comox offers programs like STEM, Creative Kids and Outdoor Explorers. Camps are open to members of the military and members of the community.
Cumberland Recreation offers Explore the Wild Camp (full-day), Junior Explorers (half-day), and specialty camps like Outdoor Climbing, LUSH Valley Young Cooks, Tiny Pencil Studios Art, Little Ninjas Gymnastics, Soccertron and Balance Biking for preschool and school-aged children.
Comox Community Centre has Camp Comox full-day camps, Hands-on Farm camps and camps for sports, sailing, computer, arts, fencing and more; register starting at 6 a.m. on April 15.
Courtenay Recreation offers full-day camps and specialty classes like Brick Quest, Jedi Training Camp and Jr. Iron Chef. Registration will also be taking place for swim lessons at the outdoor pool at Lewis Park. Register starting at 7:15 a.m. on April 15.
Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) Recreation Services has ongoing registration for summer camps, indoor swim lessons and other classes. Check out day camps like River Explorers, Junior Lifeguard Camp and Ball Hockey Introduction Camp.
