The Comox Valley Kickers RFC is hosting the second annual Co-Ed Touch Rugby Tournament, set for Aug. 17, at Lewis Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event invites participants aged 16 and over, regardless of skill level, to join in a day of fun and friendly competition.

The tournament will follow a 6v6 format, with each team required to have at least one female player on the field at all times. Teams can consist of up to 10 players, with rolling substitutions.

Registration for the event is open until Aug. 10. Teams can register for a fee of $160, while individual players can sign up for $20 and will be placed on a team. This offers a great opportunity for individuals to get involved, meet new people, and enjoy a day of rugby, whether they are seasoned players or newcomers to the sport.
