The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce is announcing the launch of the Rural Business Initiative, a comprehensive research project aimed at understanding and improving business conditions in Electoral Area C.

This area includes Merville, Black Creek, Dove Creek, Saratoga Beach, Arden, Powerhouse, Lake Trail, Marsden, Plateau Road, and the northern boundary at the Oyster River.

From Aug. 16 to Sept. 16, business owners in Electoral Area C are encouraged to participate in a brief five to 10-minute poll available on the chamber's website. The insights gathered from this poll will directly influence the chamber's strategy for the coming years. Whether it’s advocating on behalf of businesses to various levels of government or developing targeted programs to support business success, the chamber is committed to taking action based on the needs and concerns of the rural business community.

The online poll can be found on their website, or meet us at the Comox Valley Exhibition and the Gumboot Market to chat in person at our pop-up booths.

As a 105-year-old organization, the Comox Valley Chamber has always been dedicated to the prosperity of the entire business community, not just its members. Their mission is to foster a thriving economic environment by supporting businesses of all sizes and industries.

Their vision is one of continuous growth, innovation, and collaboration, ensuring that the Comox Valley remains a vibrant place to live and work for generations to come.

The Rural Business Initiative is a testament to our forward-looking approach. The chamber recognizes the unique challenges faced by businesses in rural areas and is committed to working closely with them to drive sustainable growth and success.
