Timothy Lau is charged with taking part in a riot, two counts of break and enter, two counts of mischief and four counts of mischief to property over $5,000.

Five other suspects charged are from the Surrey area, one from Burnaby and another from Chilliwack.

A total of 103 charges have been laid against 38 rioters.

Vancouver police have so far asked Crown to prosecute 100 suspected rioters, and prosecutors are still considering charges against dozens of those suspects.

Police add hundreds more requests for criminal charges could still be made.

Rioters torched police cars and other vehicles and looted stores in downtown Vancouver on June 15 after the Boston Bruins defeated the Vancouver Canucks in Game Seven of the Cup final.
