Comox Fire Rescue attended a fire in a trailer park on Wilkinson Road in Comox Wednesday morning (Feb. 21).
Comox Fire Rescue Chief Gord Schreiner said the fire department received a call around 8:22 a.m. for a fully involved structure fire at a mobile home in Del鈥檚 Mobile Home Park at 1240 Wilkinson Rd.
He added that 22 firefighters attended and extinguished the fire quickly. Three other neighbouring mobile homes were damaged but are in livable condition, along with two vehicles that were significantly damaged.
Schreiner noted while the investigation is early, it is suspected the fire was electrical and not suspicious.
