Peninsula Co-op Gas & Convenience in Comox is hosting a car wash and BBQ for Tour de Rock 2023.
The gas station, located at 669 Aspen Rd., is set to return with the fundraiser for the first time since prior to the pandemic.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., washes and hot dogs will be available by donation with funds going to raise money for childhood cancer research and support services for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Tour de Rock is set for Sept. 23 to Oct. 6, with law enforcement and emergency services personnel cycling 14 days and 1,200km across Vancouver Island.
