Victoria artist Ainsley Dack is adding a bit of colour to downtown Courtenay.
Dack is nearly finished with a mural on the side of 457 Cliffe Ave., which she hopes will add vibrancy to the alleyway as well as complement colour of the nearby Sid Williams Theatre.
The mural, which took nearly a week of work to complete, celebrates culture and women, she explained, as all of the store owners in the building are women.
