A 59-year-old Courtenay resident who is facing 10 charges for touching children inappropriately at the Comox Valley Aquatic Centre in January will make his next court appearance in two weeks.

A 59-year-old Courtenay resident who is facing 10 charges for touching children inappropriately at the Comox Valley Aquatic Centre in January will make his next court appearance in two weeks.

On Thursday, Wolfgang Kurt Busch made an application to change his lawyer, and is scheduled to appear back in court March 3.

Earlier this month, Judge Peter Doherty imposed a $10,000 cash bail or a $50,000 surety on Busch in provincial court because he breached his conditions when he left the country.

Following his initial bail hearing, Busch was released from custody on $10,000 bail with strict conditions, including not to be alone or have any communication with a person under the age of 18, not to be alone or have any communication with a person under the age of 18 and not to be within 300 metres of any public park, schoolground or daycare centre.
