The RCMP is investigating the discovery of a body in a forested area near Shawnigan Lake.
Part of this investigation will be to determine whether or not criminality is involved, RCMP said in a press release on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
The BC Coroners Service is conducting a concurrent investigation.
RCMP said they would not be sharing any further details at this time.
