BC Wildfire Service responds to small blaze in central Vancouver Island

̨ÍåMMÂãÁÄÊÒ Fire Centre: Fire not expected to grow

BC Wildfire Service is responding to a small wildfire in the Moriarty Creek area, north of the Englishman River on Vancouver Island.

The fire is currently being held and is 0.02 hectares in size, according to the ̨ÍåMMÂãÁÄÊÒ Fire Centre.

Nine firefighters and a water tender are containing the blaze.
