Comox's Four Mile Race is set for downtown Comox on B.C. day, and racers will run the traditional four miles starting at Comox Town Hall and making their way to the finish line at the corner of Comox Avenue and Port Augusta Street.

The event started before Canada adopted the metric system and while the route has changed over the years, the race has stuck to its traditional four miles.

This family-friendly event allows for all pace levels and is part of the Nautical Days celebration. After the run, the Nautical Days parade will take place.

The race and Nautical Days takes place on August 5 and the race begins at 9 a.m..
