•Crown Isle Ladies had their third Pin Day and Zone 6 qualifier June 13. The first low gross winners with 83 were Judy Pouliot and Maggie Maclean, Carol Ayley second with 84, Raelene Robertson 85, Ev Shaw with 87. The first low net winner was Linda Stickney 64, Selma Cole 67, Sandra Linhart and Evie MacDonald with 68, Anne Sands and Karen Currie with 69.

Flighted KPs were Brenda Barrigan and Rosemary Smith on 12, Gwen Rypien and Marilyn McCusker on 4. Judy Pouliot only had 26 putts.

June 20 was a fun Irish 4 Ball. First low net winners were Marsha MacKinnon, Linda Stickney and Trisha Harris. Second was Rosemary Smith, Liz Ellis, Iris Peterson and Kathy Thompson. Third Carol Ayley, Julie Tuepah, Donna Cunliffe and Brenda Good. The fourth team winners were Pat Johnson, Pouliot, Cheryl Davies and Peggy Quinney. KPs on 12 were Peggy Quinney and Maggie Maclean, on #4 Pouliot and Julie Tuepah.

9 &wine Aug. 2 will be a Penguin theme evening dressed in black and white. Sign up as an individual or as a four lady team for nine holes, a glass of wine, appetizers and prizes.

•Sunnydale June 22: Colleen Lawrence had the longest drive on #1 and was most honest golfer. Roxy Fleming was closest to the tree on the right on #2; Judy Brown was closest to the pin second shot on #3; Peggy Cummings was in the sandtrap on #4; Louise Bustard was closest to the pin third shot on #5; Erma Derkson had the longest putt on #7. Bernadette Giaconelli had lowest putts of 14.

The annual Bring a Friend Charity Tuesday was June 20. The winning team of the18-hole scramble was Pat Peden, Carolyn Walker, Holly Sanders and Karen Hopwood with a two under par 71. The big winner, however, was the Canadian Cancer Society. The women raised over $400 in the fight against breast cancer.

Sunnydale Ladies 55th Tillicum Tournament is Aug. 12 and will be played as a two-person team, two-ball format. An early bird draw for free entry is June 30.
