Police are searching for someone who allegedly keyed a Cybertruck on Monday, March 31.

The Victoria Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a suspect who allegedly keyed a Tesla Cybertruck while parked in the 800-block of Humbolt Street on Monday, March 31.

The incident, which occurred at 2:23 p.m. was captured on the vehicle's security cameras.

VicPD says there has been no notable increase in mischief incidents targeting Tesla vehicles compared to previous years, though this is the second Tesla-related file this year, with the first happening in February when "obscenities" were written on the side of a Cybertruck using dust according to police.

Anyone who recognizes the individual in the footage or have any information related to the incident are asked to contact the E-Comm Report Desk at 250-995-7654, extension 1, and reference file number 25-11330. To report anonymously, call Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
