Garlic sellers will have their tents full with garlic cloves, scapes, jams, spirits and baked goods on Aug. 18 at the Farmer鈥檚 Market at the Big Yellow Merville Hall.
The Comox Valley has plenty of garlic crops and each year farmers gather to sell dozens of varieties of garlic. Along with the various garlic forward products and artisans booths, local musicians will be playing for entertainment.
The festival starts at noon and runs until 4:00 p.m. but organizers suggest you arrive early as garlic tends to sell out quickly.
