The Comox Valley Regional District has announced a road closure of Lazo Road from Brent Road to Guthrie Road. The Lazo Road closure is to begin on Aug. 26 and last until Oct. 16.
The construction will begin at the corner of Brent Road and Lazo Road. During construction, Brent Road will be closed. The CVRD says to use the Curtis Road detour. Brent Road will reopen to traffic once construction is complete through the intersection.
Construction will then move along Lazo Road, towards Guthrie Road.
Two-way traffic will not be possible during construction. There will be a detour on Knight Road that commuters are to take. There will be traffic control personnel positioned to help guide traffic to detour routes.
