The third round of engagement on the Official Community Plan (OCP) is planned for early 2025. Cumberland will share community input received from May to July of 2024 from open houses, workshops and surveys and will present updates for feedback prior to drafting the new OCP bylaws.
The Cumberland OCP lays out a long-term vision, goals and actions to guide growth and change in the community over 10 years and beyond. The OCP also sets priorities and identifies actions for housing, climate change, economic development, transportation and mobility, infrastructure, heritage protection, arts and culture, food systems, parks and recreation, environmental protection and overall community well-being.
