Residents of the Comox Valley Regional District’s (CVRD) Electoral Areas are invited to join their elected Directors at a drop-in meet and greet event on Oct. 29.

Directors Daniel Arbour (Electoral Area A), Richard Hardy (Electoral Area B) and Edwin Grieve (Electoral Area C) will host the event, offering an opportunity for residents to learn more about CVRD projects and services, ask questions and share feedback with directors.

The open house is drop-in style and will have staff on hand to talk about infrastructure upgrades, fire hall projects, emergency preparedness and more. Residents are welcome to bring comments and questions of their own too.

“It’s a priority for us as Directors to connect with residents and hear about issues that are important to them,” said Director Edwin Grieve, Chair of the Electoral Area Services Committee. “This event is part of our effort to keep communication open – we look forward to seeing everyone.”

The event takes place Oct. 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the CVRD Civic Room, at 770 Harmston Ave.
