On Jan. 19, Comox Valley RCMP received a report that a bike was stolen from the back of a pickup truck in the Courtenay Walmart (3199 Cliffe Avenue) parking lot. The bicycle is a Juliana 鈥淲ilder鈥� Mountain Bike, palisade peach in colour, worth approximately $8,000. Investigators were able to secure surveillance footage of the suspect and also of a woman associated with the theft.
