On Jan. 7, the Comox Valley and Campbell River waste management centres will be implementing new scale software.
The new software will improve system functionality. The landfill will remain open during regular operating hours, with the update taking place before the landfills open. Scale attendants have been trained on the new system.
"Your patience is appreciated through this transition," a release from CSWM says.
Customers are encouraged to review their receipts during the week of January 7 to familiarize themselves with the updated format.
