Natasha Kristensen and Jacob Lamarsh can’t wait to treat their children to a vacation in Vegas after discovering they won the top prize of $100,000 from a Jaws Scratch & Win ticket.

Lamarsh picked up the ticket on a whim as a treat for Kristensen from the Petro Canada on Anderton Road in Comox and was at home relaxing when he discovered they won.

“It was late at night and I was watching TV and decided to scan it on my Lotto! App,” Lamarsh recalled. “I saw we won and I woke everyone up to tell them!”

After telling her immediate family, Kristensen shared the news with her colleagues at work.

“There was a lot of screaming and high-fives,” she said.

In addition to a Vegas vacation, the Comox residents plan to treat their kids on a shopping spree.
